Denise Zhou is a cultural worker based in Brooklyn, New York. They work with the W.O.W. Project as part of the Creatives Rebuild New York Artist Employment Program. Drawing from her experiences as a filmmaker, bookseller, and youth worker, Denise is interested in the possibilities of storytelling as a vehicle for politicization, community-building, and radical hope.
