In such trying times, now more than ever, coming together as a form of resistance feels crucial to nurturing our communities and networks of care when we need them the most. We are excited to be hosting our 9 year anniversary celebration Sunday, June 29th from 1-5PM at Columbus Park. We will gather as a recommitment to our politics of refusal and staying put: we refuse to be moved; we refuse the inevitability of displacement; we refuse to let the history of this neighborhood and the land it occupies fade into abstraction. We are building on the lineages that have brought us to where we are now and asking: how can we continue cultures of care and interdependence under pressure?

Staying Put: 9 Years of The W.O.W. Project Anniversary Fair

Building upon the lineage of past youth and art collective health fairs and field days convened in Columbus Park, The W.O.W. Project is hosting an afternoon full of interactive art activities and performances inspired by questions of belonging and interdependence as we enter our 10-year milestone on Mott St. Join us as we practice waging love as resistance!
