Every year, we bring together Asian American artists and Chinatown small businesses to combat gentrification and economic challenges through art and community engagement. Our signature program From Chinatown, With Love provides mutual aid to small businesses; our lion dance team performs throughout the neighborhood, and our youth fellows collect discarded confetti from celebrations to use in community papermaking workshops.

    From Chinatown, With Love

By reimagining traditions like calendar giveaways, FCWL brings together Asian American artists and Chinatown small businesses to combat issues of gentrification and economic challenge through art and community engagement.

We perform all year round, bringing our joyous performance to different spaces including Lunar New Year celebrations, protests, and other special occasions.
