Our Lion Dance Troupe

Our all-woman, queer, and trans lion dance troupe first debuted during The Year of the Wood Snake 2025. As a team, we are committed to honoring our ancestors and Chinatown’s queer legacy through lion dance performance! We perform all year round, bringing our fierce and joyous spirit to W.O.W. Project’s annual Lunar New Year programming, protests, and other public and private events throughout New York City. We are grateful to Sifu Warren Wan of Wan Ching Ming Hung Gar School for imparting his wisdom and sharing the power of Southern Chinese lion dance with us!
