WOW's youth programs empower young Asian Americans and immigrant New Yorkers, including queer and trans youth, through art, activism, and intergenerational learning.

Our programs are free of charge and foster leadership and community engagement for the future of Chinatown and our city.

Current youth PRograms

    Resist, Recycle, Regenerate (RRR)

    A year-long program for Asian American high schoolers and college students focused on peer-to-peer mentorship, art making, and community workshop facilitation.

    Applications for the 2025-2026 cohort are now closed.

    Applications for the 2026-2027 cohort will open in 2026.

    High School Fellowship

    A 3-week summer fellowship for rising 10th and 11th graders who live or go to high school in Manhattan’s Chinatown.

    2025’s theme was Arts, Craft, and Urban Studies.

    Applications for summer 2026 will open in early 2026.

    Past internships for high school and college students have included year-long cohort programs, as well as summertime internships.

    We are not currently running any internship programs.
